“Torn dialogues on a canvas of wisdom”

In my work “the medium is the message”, the intricate process of tearing and shaping each piece of paper is symbolic of how traditional sources of knowledge, such as books of poetry, stories, and cultural information are being metaphorically and literally torn apart in the digital age. These fragments represent the wealth of human wisdom that once served as the bedrock of intercultural understanding. The artwork highlights the tragic loss of depth and substance in the way we now perceive, understand, and communicate across cultures.

The work does not just mount the displacement of books in the contemporary cultural landscape, it also emphasizes that these pieces still hold the potential to inspire, connect, and foster true understanding between diverse cultures.

At the end, each work also carries the whispers of a wounded earth longing for care.
